Volcano Engine Ark and BytePlus ModelArk publish different regional Seedance 2.5 online-inference rates. The values below are source prices per million tokens, not currency conversions.
The global pricing document currently lists only the 480p and 720p tier. This tracker does not infer global 1080p or 4K rates from the China table.

Billing method
How the official estimate works
Estimated video price = token unit price × token consumption. Estimated token consumption = (input video duration + output video duration) × output width × output height × output frame rate ÷ 1024.
When a request contains video input, Seedance 2.5 can apply a minimum token-consumption limit based on resolution, aspect ratio, and output duration. The actual charge must ultimately follow the completion token usage returned after a successful API call.
- Only successfully generated videos are billed; documented moderation failures are not charged.
- Higher resolution can use more tokens even when its per-token rate is lower.
- Video input changes both the applicable token rate and total token calculation.
- Use the official calculator for a production estimate instead of a flat per-second assumption.
- Keep storage, delivery, retries, and discarded creative variants outside the model-only estimate.
- Recheck the first-party price table before committing production spend.
Access status
Published price does not mean callable API
The price documents expose Seedance 2.5 billing records before enterprise service activation. Customers can read model information and rates, but cannot currently activate the model, use Model Playground, or submit API jobs.
Enterprise API access is expected around August 7, 2026, but that date is not confirmed by the first-party documents. This site offers no checkout or credit purchase and will keep later price changes tied to their verification date.

What is the official Seedance 2.5 price?
Official rates are published per million tokens. In China, 480p and 720p output starts at ¥46 without video input or ¥28 with video input. BytePlus lists $10.70 and $6.40 respectively for the same published resolution tier. Other China resolution rates are listed below.
Are the prices on third-party Seedance websites official?
A third-party subscription or credit package is that provider’s own offer. It should not be treated as Volcano Engine Ark pricing unless the page clearly cites the matching first-party model card.
Does published pricing mean I can activate the API?
No. Enterprise customers can inspect the model card and price table, but Seedance 2.5 activation, Model Playground, and API access remain unavailable.
How is Seedance 2.5 video cost estimated?
The official estimate is token unit price multiplied by token consumption. Estimated tokens equal input video duration plus output duration, multiplied by output width, height, and frame rate, then divided by 1024. Video-input jobs can also have a minimum token-consumption floor.
